Comics, WIPs and Sketches

Here are some comic art pieces I've created over the past few months. Most of them are texts and WIPs.

Tests for what?

I want to create a webcomic, but I'm still very unsure about which style I actually want to use. So I started creating some artwork to see what works best for me. I'm not quite where I want to be yet, but I hope to be able to start on the actual story.

I'm particularly interested in the mix of 3D and 2D. Firstly, because I like the look of it, and secondly, because there are many advantages to being able to reuse assets and from different perspectives.

I'm planning to create a comic that follows a crew of Arcpunks as they travel through the cosmos, taking on daring jobs and experiencing countless adventures. They fight for the good, navigate dangerous encounters, and often find themselves caught up in the schemes of powerful forces.

Through their journeys, readers will get a deep look into the worlds of Arcpunk - from vibrant metropolises to perilous, uncharted Chunks. My goal is to make the comic accessible to younger readers while still keeping it engaging for older audiences. Those who want to dive deeper will uncover the deep worldbuilding of Arcpunk.

A lot has changed since then. Above all, however, Arcpunk has grown - both the world itself and my ideas for various stories within it.

Although I love characters whose personality isn’t immediately obvious, it’s also fun to create a very stereotypical character every now and then. :D

Did I mention that I'm a fan of the 80s/90s?
